▼ Super-Dimensional Model 1/11 Neptune Warrior Psycho-Sensing Head Model Kit
The first model kit from the Chinese hobby brand Super-Dimensional , the 1/11 Neptune Warrior Psycho-Sensing Head (sample), arrived at our studio a while ago. This is not just a large-scale head model kit at 1/11 scale, it also included preorder bonuses featuring a dual-mode lighting system, motorized unit, LED module, TYPE-C charging, and no soldering required wiring design. Unlike standard snap-fit builds, this kit requires manual routing and hiding of cables, adding a noticeable level of challenge. Let’s take a quick hands-on look.

▼ 45° Side Profile = Peak Aura
At 1/11 scale (27cm height), the head can actually pair well with mainstream 6-inch action figures. However, since there is currently no 6-inch Amuro Ray figure available, this Hi-Nu head can only serve as a desktop display piece for now.

▼ Despite its large size, the head sculpt is not overly detailed or complex. The 45° side profile looks striking, while the front view feels a bit goofy. The antennas have been heavily modified, with the side vulcans redesigned into small antenna details. We recommend using a 0.35mm liner pen to trace the edges to enhance contrast and bring out sharper detail definition.

▼ Once powered on, the head looks far more dynamic and expressive. The neck joint connects directly to the motor bearings, offering very limited articulation.

▼ With fewer parts and oversized components, the core assembly itself is very beginner-friendly. The real challenge lies in cable routing and hiding the long wires within seams or inside the base, which requires patience and fine adjustments (here’s a base plate for reference). The experience feels similar to solving a mecha-city puzzle, but the circuitry is much simpler than Mecha City kits. This makes it less ideal for complete beginners, yet still a fun and worthwhile challenge for builders ready to push their skills.
