▼ This time we’re showcasing the set version, which includes one “UBC-404 Larva” and one “Adult.”

▼ The outer box has a window that displays the adult’s paw pad, and the coloration looks incredibly fresh~~ The total weight, including the box, is close to about 1.5 pounds.

▼ It comes with an introduction card for the UBC series containment creatures, a pass card, and an instruction manual.

▼ The large tentacles are called “support arms,” with 10 included, and the small tentacles are called “entangling arms,” with 7 included. All of them require manual installation.

▼ UBC-404 adult form is massive. The large and small tentacles, as well as the core base, are made of flexible PVC. The surface has a semi-gloss purple-to-pink gradient, while the inner suction cups and folds feature a glossy pink finish. It feels smooth and slippery to the touch, not sticky.

▼ The texture of the core pad and the suction cups is also distinct. It’s said that the painting process this time depended heavily on weather humidity, so achieving such detailed “Cthulhu” paintwork was not easy.

▼ The adult base has a forward-tilting support design, giving the tentacle base and figures a more dynamic display angle, which is highly commendable.

▼ The UBC-404 juvenile is much smaller in size, with only one large tentacle and four binding arms. The base is primarily purple, and compared to the adult form, it clearly appears underdeveloped. However, the tentacle length is the same as that of the adult.

▼ The tentacles are reinforced with soft iron wire inside, combined with a flexible PVC outer layer, allowing for various bending poses. In initial handling, the paint did not show any cracks from bending. That said, I’d personally recommend being cautious while posing to avoid potential damage.

▼ The smaller tentacles are even more flexible, allowing them to wrap around the figure’s arms or legs with ease.

▼ Besides wrapping, the more tentacles you use, the stronger the support becomes, allowing them to hold up various objects. Using it as a phone stand—now that would be quite a luxury!
