▼ Recently, the first assembly model "REA-03 Lynx" from Mingjiang Legend Blue Whale Models has been making frequent news. We've gathered most of the relevant information, and today, the editorial team managed to get a trial model of the Lynx directly from the back door of Mingjiang Chuan! Let’s dive into a hands-on review with some insider warmth and a more intuitive look!

This time, we’re still reviewing the prototype, with finalized joints, materials, weapon accessories, and parts separation. We believe that the details of the final retail version, which will be released at the end of the month, will be even more refined. Without further ado, let’s get into the pictures!

▼The "Ghost" on the Battlefield — REA-03 Lynx

The overall height of the model is approximately 21.5 cm. The appearance is based on the design by SUNDAY HOBBY, presenting a very robust style. The outer armor is made of two shades of green and grayish yellow with a semi-gloss finish, giving it a low-saturation military camouflage look, clearly positioning it as a combat weapon. The model’s shape also carries a vibe reminiscent of Full Metal Panic or Mobile Suit Gundam.

▼ The inner skeleton of the model is fully detailed and must be assembled by the builder. The core joints (shoulders, elbows, waist, knees, ankles, etc.) are made of ABS and POM, providing a very comfortable damping feel.

▼ The purple semi-transparent eye shield reacts to UV light, glowing under a UV lamp. The cockpit design on the chest is asymmetric, and the opening structure is very spacious.

▼ The mechanical arm on the chest side is divided into 5 movable sections, with the mechanical claw's three fingers moving independently. Although the supporting strength is average, it can assist in holding the railgun.

▼ There’s also a mechanical claw on the back of the forearm, which would be even better if it could hold a beam saber or a close combat knife.

▼ The shoulders are designed with extendable joints, providing great flexibility for holding and aiming the weapons.

▼ The legs have a sharp-edged design, with detailed mechanical parts filling in the lower legs. The ankle joint can rotate up to 50 degrees, and when the knee bends, a linkage mechanism unfolds.

▼ The rear skirt armor has a retractable landing gear to assist with shooting poses.

▼ There are missile launchers inside the shoulders, which can be equipped with special effect parts for missile launches. However, there are only two effect parts included, so it's a bit disappointing that you can’t create a full six-missile launch scene.

▼ The full equipment mode includes the beam rifle and the LN-26 long-range sniper railgun mounted on the back.

▼ The beam rifle also includes plenty of detailed components to enhance its look.

▼ The sniper railgun, when fully extended, reaches a total length of about 36 cm, which makes it feel massive compared to the Lynx itself.

▼ With the legs’ high mobility range, you can pose it in a precision sniper stance. Due to the size of the sniper rifle, positioning it requires some extra support.

In addition to the Lynx body itself, the included maintenance gantry is a standout feature. It can function both as a repair stand and as a launch deck.
