▼ Build quality should be the most fundamental aspect of a model kit, and this product does not disappoint. Just like the quality of its runners, the overall assembly is smooth and seamless—truly excellent.
▼ In theory, this Liu Xing unit is compatible with HG, MR, and MGSD series products. All of them can be directly used with it. However, the most suitable match in terms of size and proportion is still the MGSD series, which aligns perfectly. While 1/144 scale models like HG can also be equipped, the proportions may look slightly off, making them less ideal for display or visual harmony.
▼ To give everyone a clearer sense of scale, we specifically brought in the BGU for comparison. This way, you can better understand the actual size.

▼ For a product based on the original work, the accuracy of the design is always a major concern. Judging from the final product, the shape, structure, and various opening mechanisms have all been faithfully recreated according to the original design. In addition, to enhance the level of detail, many intricate features have been added, along with magnetic LED light modules, which significantly boost the overall visual impact and display quality of the model.

It also prevents long-term risks like battery leakage and corrosion of internal circuits—issues I’ve personally encountered and found troublesome.
▼ The other viewpoint emphasizes aesthetic integrity, arguing that external wiring ruins the visual appeal and breaks the overall design coherence. They prefer built-in batteries for a cleaner look.
▼ As for me, I lean toward the first approach. Over the years, I’ve had to deal with dead internal batteries, difficult disassembly, and even damage caused by leaked batteries. Stability and long-term reliability matter more to me than a perfectly clean look.
