▼ The box for this Star Abyss model is huge, about the same size as a regular PG (Perfect Grade) kit box, and it even comes with a pull-up carry handle on the top.

▼ Pre-assembled alloy joints are included.

▼ It also provides two large sheets of waterslide decals and one sticker sheet.

▼ The frame runners feature two different metallic pre-painted finishes.

▼ The J-version uses POM parts.

▼ The base stand is reused from previous releases, but this time extra attention has been put into the connector parts.

▼ The model has a full inner frame structure, with richly engraved mechanical details. Many of these inner frame details will be completely hidden once the armor is assembled.

▼ It includes two fully built heads, both with internal structures and fully color-separated eye monitors.

▼ The manual guides you to assemble the entire frame first, then the outer armor. However, part of the decorative frame assembly steps has been moved into the armor section of the instructions instead.

▼ The backpack and leg thrusters also include full internal structures with extensive mechanical details.

▼ The overall assembly process was smooth, with no need for part modifications or sanding. The alloy joints feel slightly tight during assembly, and it is highly recommended to follow the manual step by step, because if you assemble something out of order or incorrectly, disassembling it can be extremely difficult.
The final result closely replicates the Cherudim Angel GK conversion kit design, and the color separation on the exterior details is very well executed.

▼ The kit offers three different head styles, forming two complete heads in total.

▼ The battle-mode head (on the left) is a modified version of the original head, featuring redesigned antennas and face mask.

▼ The dual cockpit structure has also been recreated.

▼ The shoulder armor and arms feature deployable opening mechanisms.

▼ Except for the torso, which has limited articulation, the mobility in other areas performs quite well.

▼ It includes 7 pairs of hands (14 total hand parts).

▼ In terms of weapons, besides the original GN Sword Rifle, the kit also includes two modified sword rifles, and two large customized wings.

▼ Using the included connectors, the wings can combine into an oversized boomerang form.

▼ After attaching the backpack, the center of gravity shifts slightly backward, but with minor adjustments it can still stand on its own.

▼ Interestingly, after equipping all accessories, the balance becomes even more stable.

▼ The full transformation mechanism of the original design has also been faithfully restored.

▼ There are also several impressive small details added to the backpack.

▼ The side thrusters feature a downward deployment mechanism.

▼ The rear missile bay and GN Scissor storage gimmicks have also been reproduced.

▼ A dedicated connector part is included for cruise mode, allowing it to mount very securely onto the stand. With the large customized wings equipped, the cruise mode looks even more impressive.

▼ For the final decisive battle mode, you only need to swap and reinsert two lower-leg parts. Although the leg thrusters are very heavy, the alloy joints provide excellent support and stability, allowing poses like side kicks to hold angles firmly without slipping.

▼ The leg thrusters’ GN Scissor storage bay mechanism has also been restored.

▼ The thrusters are expandable, and the GN Drive includes magnetic LED lighting that simulates a rotating energy effect when powered on.

▼ Although the final battle configuration looks a bit bulky, it can still achieve a few dynamic poses.

▼ The GN Scissor firing connectors are fixed using coated metal wires and clear parts, making it easy to adjust angles.

▼ The connectors can mount either on the back of the stand or on the base platform.
Being able to play with a buildable final battle version of Cherudim Angel in MG scale is truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Iron Factory Creative (Tie Chuang) has done an excellent job restoring the design as faithfully as possible, while also delivering strong joint stability and very solid stand support. As long as a model this large and heavy is stable, it already checks most of the important boxes. In addition to the purple colorway, the original orange version is also available, which meets the expectations and needs of collectors and players alike.
