Stay updated with the latest toy news. IN ERA+ 1/100 RMD Series Lizard Model Kit. Let's assess its performance through the official photos!

▼ Box & Runners

▼ There are a total of 43 pieces, which is quite an impressive number in terms of parts quantity.

▼ In addition, it comes with 2 springs and 2 wires for connecting the ammunition belt.

▼ The final product will include an additional set of POM material parts for the elbow joints.

▼ As for the detailed parts, they are coated with a metallic spray finish. The frame gray and outer armor red are divided into three shades of molded colors, providing depth and variation.

▼ As a characteristic feature of domestic model kits, the "hidden gates" cover almost 90% of the parts. This model is also well-suited for panel spraying and coloring. The precision of the part detailing and mold quality for the Infinity Nova remains impressively high.

▼ It’s worth mentioning that the red outer armor comes packaged separately this time. Could there be blue or green versions of the outer armor in future releases?

▼ The paper accessories include a stand base photo, one sheet of aluminum foil metal stickers, and one sheet of water decals. The water decals are thoughtfully organized by different parts of the mecha for easy application.

▼ The manual features printed concept line art of the mecha, which is a longstanding tradition of Infinite Nova.

▼ Due to the large number of parts, the manual's layout has been optimized for easier reference, listing the required sprues and parts for each step.

▼ The assembly time is approximately 10 to 12 hours. The level of assembly has been handled exceptionally well. The total height of the model is about 24 cm, and the total weight with all equipment is close to 550 g.

▼ Skeleton Section

▼ As a feature of the RMD (Real Structure Design) series, the high-precision details of the skeleton are showcased this time with key details in gold and silver pre-painted color separation. Compared to the previous work, "RMD Thunder," the amount of information in the skeleton is even more substantial. For those who have the means to paint, further detailing can be added to enhance the overall appearance.

▼ Once the outer armor is attached, the overall design indeed deviates from the previous "Infinite Nova" models, resulting in a sturdier and more robust silhouette that evokes many familiar mecha. The armor features a combination of three shades of red and black, with some exposed skeletal details, contributing to a very high level of completeness in the assembled model.

▼ The head has three different designs that can be swapped out. However, the replacement process involves several steps, so it's advisable to decide which one to use beforehand before installation.

▼ To avoid wasting the intricate details of the skeleton, the armor features open structures at various points, giving the overall design a more dynamic appearance.

▼ When the side armor of the thigh is opened, it can store the beam saber hilt. This design is quite interesting.

▼ The outer armor of the calf has the most opening designs, with nearly all the inner lining details featuring separate parts and color variations.

▼ The weaponry section includes four Gatling guns, a thruster backpack, two types of beam swords (long and short), and a beam axe.

▼ The back of the beam axe also showcases precise details with different color applications. It can be folded to transform into a single-blade axe mode.

▼ The details of the Gatling gun are incredibly intricate, with each segment of the ammunition belt being a separate piece. This allows for smooth bending and movement, creating a very natural appearance.

▼ Considering the weight of the Gatling gun, the pivot joint of the backpack has been designed with a locking mechanism.

▼ When mounting the four Gatling guns on the backpack, it is recommended to use a stand for support.

▼ Of course, when the Gatling guns are installed separately on the arms, the weight distribution from the backpack allows it to stand normally.

▼ Articulation/POSE

▼ When installing the Gatling guns, the arms can still be held steady at a horizontal position. The elbows feature a two-segment bending articulation, and for the first time, the hands are designed with articulated five fingers.

▼ The Gatling guns can be mounted on the back and side of the forearms using interchangeable parts. When posing, just be mindful of the position of the Gatling guns in relation to the shoulder armor.

▼ The shoulder joint can be extended outward by approximately 35 degrees.

▼ The waist features a two-segment bending joint, allowing for various poses and the ability to perform a crunch action. When the backpack is removed, it can rotate left and right without obstruction.

▼ By coordinating the waist and leg joints, you can achieve a standard kneeling pose on one knee. The calf knee joint is equipped with a spring, allowing the armor to automatically reset when the leg is straightened.

▼ The "RMD Lizad" from Infinity New Star's IN ERA+ series is the second major release following "PMD Dawn." In addition to inheriting the excellent skeletal details from its predecessor "Thunder," it also features beautiful pre-painted color separation and part design, boasting the highest number of color variations among all current product lines. To preserve the skeletal details, a special "explosion armor" design has been added, which allows the intricate mechanical interior structure to be displayed even while wearing the outer armor. This enhances the visual impact of the model. It can be said that while maintaining the brand's standard production quality, the designers have also demonstrated their dedication to the design process.

▼ In terms of armament configuration, the model features four heavy Gatling guns and a striking beam axe, providing formidable combat capabilities for both long-range and close-quarters battles. Coupled with its vibrant red outer armor, it showcases a strong combat presence. However, this does put significant pressure on the joint stability.

As for the hidden gate design, it has always been a polarizing topic. In this instance, all 112 "ammunition chains" utilize hidden gates, which can make the repetitive work of handling the gates feel somewhat tedious. However, the final result of the ammunition chain is indeed quite impressive. This ultimately comes down to individual preference.
